Planning and Follow-up Division – College of Education for Human Sciences

Work Plan:
This division serves as a key link between the college’s databases and the administrative departments of the presidency, reporting directly to the Office of the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs. Its main responsibilities include:

  • Updating statistical data related to undergraduate programs, both morning and evening, including information about the college, students, faculty members, and staff.
  • Developing an advanced electronic program for the college’s departmental database, containing comprehensive information about all college members, including faculty, administrative, and technical staff, for the coming years.
  • Forming follow-up committees from the staff to monitor departmental responses, in consultation with the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, to address reasons for delays in responding to official correspondence issued by the division.

Vision:
The division aims to prepare the annual plans and needs of the college for all scientific activities, curricula, and departments. It also studies the creation of new departments, branches, and units related to undergraduate studies, submitting proposals to the College Council and then to the University Presidency for official approval. Additionally, the division monitors planning mechanisms across the college and its departments, coordinating efforts to implement the college’s strategic plan and ensuring follow-up in academic areas.

Mission:
The division seeks to provide studies related to the establishment of new departments, research centers, units, and branches at the college level. It ensures accurate information is maintained in the database for all department members, regularly updated. The division also evaluates the progress of work in the college by preparing quarterly and annual reports, including university statistics and periodic reports, to identify gaps and provide recommendations.

Objectives:

  1. Develop a comprehensive plan for new departmental establishments according to the college’s needs and adopted strategic plan.
  2. Build and maintain a database of all college members, including faculty and staff.
  3. Issue an annual statistical guide.
  4. Prepare and develop the college’s organizational structure according to regulations.
  5. Monitor and follow up on the plans set by the college’s academic departments.
