The College’s Vision:

The college, in its vision, seeks to advance the educational reality in Iraqi society by intensifying efforts and striving to create a scientific environment suitable for various academic levels (university and pre-university) and keeping pace with global scientific developments, capable of creating a generation able to shoulder responsibility and academic integrity, and believing in knowledge as a beacon and a path for the nation’s advancement.
This vision is based on:-
1- Developing the teaching staff by enrolling them in international courses and programs specialized in the educational process.
2- Providing the necessary infrastructure for the educational process and supplying it with the latest laboratories and equipment.
3- Preparing administrative cadres capable of advancing the educational reality.
4- Activating institutional cooperation between colleges of education and various governmental institutions and civil society organizations with common goals.

The College’s Mission:

The college strives, in achieving its mission, to serve the Iraqi society by supplying it with distinguished educational capacities capable of building the next generations scientifically and educationally, in service of our beloved Iraq. It also seeks to achieve sustainable development and gain a scientific standing, both nationally and regionally (Arab-wide), that qualifies it to enter Arab and international scientific classifications.

The College’s Objectives:

The Deanship of the College of Education for Humanities seeks to achieve the following.
1- Preparing a teacher with high performance efficiency who does not merely receive scientific curricula, but rather utilizes high-quality programs in all specializations it teaches.
2- Giving the research aspect utmost importance by conducting educational research that generates educational knowledge and addresses educational issues and real problems facing education.
3- Working to improve and develop the professional capabilities of the teaching staff members.
4- Keeping pace with the latest educational systems that serve scientific trends on one hand, and keep up with the social changes brought about by the developed technological shift on the other.
5- Supporting communication links and strengthening scientific ties between the college and educational institutions in our esteemed governorates.
6- Supporting the participation of professors and researchers in Arab and international conferences.
7- Adopting the concept of comprehensive quality and working to implement it within the college.
