Strategic Objectives of the Government Program Unit

• Considering the inclusion of Iraqi universities in international rankings as both a goal and an indicator of the quality of higher education.
• Adopting genuine twinning initiatives between Iraqi universities and international universities through joint study and training programs, the exchange of assessment methods, collaborative research outputs, and other essential areas.
• Developing plans to reduce redundancy, foster an academic atmosphere conducive to research and campus life, raise scientific standards, and seek contracts with the state or companies to implement projects of “medium” scale.
• Encouraging the establishment of private universities that meet global standards of quality, while placing existing universities under review to elevate their academic levels.
• Promoting investment in expanding private colleges and enhancing their academic and scientific standards by Iraqi and foreign private sectors or foreign universities, whereby each college or university will have a counterpart partner institution to improve educational outcomes, reduce reliance on state funding, and achieve visible “rapid” results.

Mission:
Joint cooperation with public universities and civil society institutions requires greater dedication to enhance the academic reputation of our College and elevate it to higher levels of excellence. This will be achieved through active collaboration among the departments and units of the College to maximize the benefits of educational resources.

Objectives of the Government Program:

• Implementation of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research Government Program.
• Inclusion of Iraqi universities in international rankings.
• Genuine twinning of Iraqi universities with international universities.
• Reducing redundancy, promoting an academic environment of research and campus life, and raising scientific standards.
• Establishing private universities in line with global standards of quality and promoting parallel education.
• Investing in the expansion of public colleges and improving their academic and scientific levels through Iraqi and foreign private sector engagement.
