Financial Affairs Division
The Financial Affairs Division at the College of Education for Humanities was established on 3/9/2023. It is affiliated with the Administrative Assistant to the Dean and consists of several units. It is a fundamental part of operations at both the institutional and individual levels, dealing with the management of funds and financial resources to ensure their optimal use in achieving planned objectives.

The vision of the Financial Affairs Division represents the goal it strives to achieve in the financial field. It depicts the desired future state for achieving financial sustainability and fulfilling the Division’s financial objectives.
Mission
To provide accurate financial data to support positive advancement for the College and University staff, preparing them to deliver the best services to their community.
Objectives
- Budget Preparation: Develop and prepare annual budgets for the College, including financial planning for academic and administrative departments as well as research and development projects.
- Budget Control: Monitor expenditures to ensure budgets are not exceeded and provide guidance to departments on managing their financial resources effectively.
- Accounts Management: Supervise current accounts, process financial transactions such as checks and payments, and ensure their accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Cash Management: Control the College’s liquidity and manage funds to meet financial obligations on time.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly and annual financial reports to provide a comprehensive view of the College’s financial status.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the College’s adherence to applicable financial laws and regulations, including internal and external audits.
- Financial Risk Management: Assess and manage financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Procurement and Contracts: Manage the College’s purchasing processes, including processing and organizing purchase requests through designated committees.
- Financial Support and Consultation: Provide financial guidance to senior management and academic departments on various financial matters.
Achievements
- Collected revenues from tuition fees for admitted students.
- Recorded all amounts in accounting entries and registers.
- Maintained receipts, daily logs, and the College’s cash book.
- Settled financial matters included in disbursement reports.
- Oversaw the opening of a dedicated bank account for the College.
