Vision and Mission of the Department<\/h2>\n

1. We aspire to build an informed society that embraces sound nationalist ideas through lectures and lessons on the history of nations and peoples.<\/b><\/p>\n

2- Support the Ministry of Education with qualified teaching staff to teach history at the intermediate, preparatory, and secondary levels.<\/b><\/p>\n

3- Open horizons of cooperation with Iraqi universities through mutual academic visits to unify the vision of universities and integrate the experiences of established Iraqi universities with those of newly established universities.<\/b><\/p>\n

4- Open graduate studies in the Department of History to provide Iraqi society with advanced cadres to serve in Iraqi universities.<\/b><\/p>\n

  • To achieve the highest academic levels befitting the depth of Iraqi civilization and its cultural heritage.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • Expand the central admission base for undergraduate studies and open horizons for graduate studies.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      • Keep abreast of the latest scientific developments in historical studies and work to employ them.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        • Develop curricula based on scientific foundations and rely on modern methods with various scientific forums.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          • Adopting solid foundations for evaluating teaching staff annually, in accordance with quality assurance standards.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
