Head of Department’s Speech

The Department of History is one of the prominent academic pillars of the College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Al-Hamdaniya. It was established in the academic year 2010–2011 and awards a Bachelor’s degree in History upon the completion of four academic years. Since its establishment, the department has witnessed the graduation of fourteen cohorts (up to the academic year 2024–2025). The academic staff of the department consists of twenty-six faculty members holding doctoral and master’s degrees across various branches of historical studies, including Ancient History, Islamic History, and Modern and Contemporary History.
