Central Admission:
For students graduating from preparatory school in the same year, based on their grades and general competition.
And ensuring that the general admission requirements are met (age, grade point average, year of graduation, not having two studies simultaneously).
Private (Parallel) Admission Channel:
For students wishing to study at their own expense.
A channel for the children of martyrs and students with special needs.
Minimum Requirements:
After collecting students’ preferences and grades, colleges are ranked according to the competitive system.
The Ministry sets the minimum grade point average for admission to each college.
This average is called the minimum admission requirement.
Using the Minimum Requirements:
The registrar uses these minimum requirements to compare the grades of applicants with the college’s requirements.
Students use them in the following year to estimate their chances of admission to similar colleges.
Admission Plan:
The university proposes the plan based on its capacity (classrooms, teaching staff, laboratories, etc.).
It is submitted to the Ministry for approval.
After approval, it is published in the Central Admission Guide.
The Role of the Registration Officer:
Before Admission:
Monitoring the announcement of minimum admission requirements.
Receiving online applications from students.
Verifying original documents (school certificate, exam number, GPA, track, etc.).
During Registration:
Opening a paper and electronic file for each student.
Receiving the student’s commitment to abide by the instructions.
After Registration (Commencement):
Preparing a list of direct and indirect students.
Submitting a report to the University President and the Ministry of Higher Education.
Processing cases of withdrawal, transfer, deferral, and change of track.
Upon Graduation:
Preparing lists of graduates in coordination with the academic departments.
Submitting them to the Student Affairs Department for the issuance of graduation orders and certificates.
Online Application: Students must submit the Central Admission Form two weeks after the results are announced.
Settlement of Financial Obligations:
Students must pay all tuition fees (if applicable) before receiving their graduation certificate.
Clearance Certificate:
The student must complete the clearance certificate from all of the following departments:
Library
Academic Department
Accounting Department
Registration Department
Internal Departments (if resident)
College Council Approval
The lists are presented to the College Council for final approval.
After approval, they are sent to the University Presidency/Registration Department.
